The Lost Jungle Hex and Discovery Token Expansion Scenario set provides a new level of gameplay to compliment the traditional Catan game. When the number on the jungle is rolled, anyone with a settlement or city receives Discovery Token(s). The tokens may be used in lieu of one resource when purchasing a Development Card.
Important: This hex was designed to fit Catan editions 4 and 5. For Catan 6th Edition (2025 Release), a maximum of 6 replacement hexes may be used as the hexes are slightly larger than the new 6th edition hexes.
