Upgrade your game with Earthquake Mini Hexes compatible with Catan's Settlers of Catan, Seafarers, Barbarians and other Catan Expansions.

The Earthquake Mini Hex replaces the robber and fits inside a standard Catan hex. When a 7 is rolled, the earthquake destroys a nearby city or settlement, then moves to a new hex. Play with one or more Earthquake for added adventure. 

RULES
Setup
Remove the robber. Place the Earthquake on the desert. For multiple Earthquakes, arrange them in a stack with numbers facing different directions or place on different desert hexes. 
While on a hex, an Earthquake prevents resource production.

Activating the Earthquake
When rolling a 7 or playing a Knight, the island begins to shake (on a seven, hand limit applies first). The activator steals a resource from any player then the Earthquake(s) cause damage. 

Earthquake Damage
If a building is on the corner of the number shown on the red die, that building is damaged. Lay the building on its side. 

Damaged buildings continue producing resources but do not count towards victory points until repaired. 

After damage is dealt, the Earthquake travels on its fault line.

Traveling Fault Line
Move the Earthquake in the direction indicated by the yellow die’s number, with a distance of the red die’s number. While traveling, if the sea or another Earthquake are on the fault line, bypass the obstruction and continue moving to the next land hex (may require starting on the opposite side of the board).

Multiple Earthquakes
If playing with more than one Earthquake, allot damage and move each according to the rules above.

Repairing Damaged Buildings
Discard any two resource cards to repair a settlement or any three for a city. When playing with Cities & Knights, the Medicine Card will also repair a damaged city.
